Homemade 1.25" Laser Collimator
I made this 1.25" Laser Collimator from a super cheap laser pointer, a length of PVC tubing, a coke bottle cap, and a few bolts, nuts, and wingnuts . Wrap the tip of the laser pointer with tape to make it fit the inside diameter of the PVC. Please, no jokes about the way it looks...it's long because it needs to be able to be seen on the opposite side of any focuser. It works surprisingly well : )
