Band Bio

Jim Boulais - Bass, Vocals

Jim started playing bass guitar when he was 13 years old.  A Christmas present he truly enjoyed, Jim played his bass constantly.  He joined a lot of area garage bands, jamming and having fun. Up until he was 20. This is the time he joined Mad Anthony.  With Mad Anthony they rocked from the Berkshires to Boston; from Vermont to New York.   They opened for a variety of bands, like Foghat and Molly Hatchet. 

Jim hooked up with Alex (lead guitar/vocals) at an open-mic night while he was hanging out with friends.  From there, they just clicked, and started jamming together. 

In his spare time (not that he has much of it), he likes to go snowmobiling, camping in his trailer and go to NASCAR races.   Go Dale Jr.! 

His influences are bass guitarists Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), Geddy Lee (Rush) and Vail Johnson (Kenny-G; best bass solo ever heard!).
