Obsession Battery Shelf

Homemade Obsession Battery Shelf, holds 35amp hour sealed lead-acid battery. Battery weighs quite a bit...so the mount had to be very stable. As with all my obsession mods (except ServoCat installation), the goal was to not modify the obsession in any way. Two aluminum brackets are held in place behind the wheelbarrow clamps. The new battery shelf is then attached to the brackets and kept level by the 45 degree angle pieces shown below. The design has proved incredibly stable. The small control box (wooden) shown on the right is switched to provide power to two devices via RCA jacks. A red led indicates on/off status. I will be sewing a small black drawstring bag to cover the battery for aesthetic reasons.
I now use this battery to power my ServoCat and ArgoNavis. My larger battery box powers all my other accessories.
